‘FRANCE IS PAYING FOR YOUR WAR’: Macron Rips Trump’s Iran ATTACKS For Paris Protests; Europe ALARMED

French President Emmanuel Macron has linked France’s cost-of-living anger and fuel-price pain to the conflict in the Persian Gulf, saying his country did not take part in the war but is now suffering its consequences.

In a national address after violent unrest across multiple French cities, Macron drew a sharp distinction between rioters and peaceful demonstrators, saying hundreds of thousands of people had legitimate concerns about rising living costs and fuel prices.

Macron said those fuel-price pressures had their source in the Gulf conflict and stressed that France was not a participant in that war. He added that similar concerns were being felt in other European capitals.
