Russian Tech Redirects Ukraine Weapons To NATO State? Zelensky’s Shock ‘REALLY SORRY’ Remark
Ukraine has apologised to NATO member Lithuania after acknowledging that an unidentified object which triggered a nationwide security response may have been a Ukrainian drone — while suggesting Russian electronic warfare could have forced it off course. Lithuanian authorities said the suspected drone entered the country on Sunday morning, prompting residents in affected areas to seek shelter, NATO fighters to scramble and Kaunas airport to temporarily close. Debris later struck a civilian vehicle. The incident came shortly after Ukraine launched a massive long-range drone operation against Russia, including St Petersburg and the Leningrad region. Russia said more than 1,000 Ukrainian drones were intercepted during the wider assault. Kyiv said Russian signal jamming and GPS interference may have diverted the weapon. But regardless of the cause, Lithuania was left handling the consequences: air alerts, fighter jets, disrupted civilian aviation and debris on its territory — followed by an apology from Ukraine.
