A Ukrainian drone strike has hit a Yandex data centre in Russia’s Vladimir region, the third such facility targeted within days, following earlier attacks near Moscow and in the Ryazan region. The company says no one was injured, though the site reportedly houses key supercomputers used in developing its artificial intelligence systems. The strikes have disrupted services relied upon by millions of Russians, including taxi-hailing, food delivery, cloud computing and navigation tools, with users reporting widespread outages.
Al Jazeera’s Yulia Shapovalova reports from Moscow, Russia.
