Donald Trump launched a fresh attack on Rep. Ilhan Omar and Minnesota’s Somali community during a rally in Tennessee, just as the Democratic congresswoman faces intense scrutiny following a federal search of her Washington-area home.

Trump singled out Omar by name, saying: “She comes from Somalia.” He went on to describe Somalia as a country without functioning government or police and claimed “all they have is crime and squalor.” Trump then mocked Omar for invoking the U.S. Constitution, saying: “She comes into our country and she says, ‘my Constitution allows me’ — she’s talking about our Constitution.”
