'Help Ukraine Choke Putin': Senator John Kennedy's Fiery Message On Russia | Ukraine War | N18G

"Ukraine has Putin down and is choking him. We need to help Ukraine choke him to death," said United States Senator John Kennedy while urging the United States Senate to pass the Russian sanctions bill immediately. Kennedy stated that Ukraine has placed Vladimir Putin on the back foot for the first time since two thousand and twenty-two through sheer will, Western assistance, and advanced drone technology. He noted that Ukraine has become the drone master of the universe and is set to produce seven million drones in two thousand and twenty-six, up from two point two million in previous years. Some of these drones can travel up to two thousand miles to overwhelm Russian air defense systems. Kennedy highlighted Ukrainian drone strikes on two oil refineries in Ufa that eliminated thirty percent of Russia's refining capacity, leading to severe gasoline shortages and consumer restrictions. He added that drone strikes on Wildberries warehouses wiped out two billion dollars in consumer goods, forcing the Russian public to experience the direct impacts of the war. Kennedy explained that the proposed Russian sanctions bill would prohibit any country purchasing Russian oil and gas from using the US dollar or selling goods in the United States. Because oil and gas generate thirty to forty percent of Russia's national budget, restricting these revenue streams would effectively cut off cash flow and stop Putin's ability to prosecute the war without requiring further American funding. In addition to foreign sanctions, Kennedy called for passing the SAVE Act within a budget resolution to uphold election integrity. He advocated for two primary rules: requiring voters to prove their identity when registering and voting, and concluding all vote counting on election night rather than extending over weeks. Kennedy urged the Senate to stop delaying legislative votes and complete pressing business, including confirming Todd Blanche, passing a continuing resolution to keep the government funded until December eleventh, and voting Ukraine War | on long-delayed cryptocurrency legislation.
