One of the most prominent voices in Alberta's separatist movement will have up to $8.5 million in assets frozen for another month.
A judge granted an extension to the order to keep Jeffrey Rath's assets frozen after the province’s Tallcree First Nation accused him of misappropriating funds from a trust — allegations that haven't been proven in court.
As Global’s Adam MacVicar reports, rath has denied misappropriating the funds and argued against the accusations.
