Today we're talking about eBay Time Away mode and what happened to our sales while we were gone for the Highway 70 Yard Sale trip. Taking time away as resellers is not the same as taking paid vacation from a regular job, and we wanted to see how much it would affect our store.
We used Time Away instead of just extending handling time, but Candace accidentally left the setting on that hid all of our eBay listings for almost a full day. Even with that mistake, sales were not as bad as expected. We had a slow stretch, one huge $1,121 day, and then a solid comeback once we were home.
We also pull orders, including a Steuben crystal dolphin, magic tricks, Resistol hat, owl paperweight, vinyl records, Sriracha skateboard, cast iron weights, a Shed Flips magnet, and the big cash register sale that came in while we were away.
