For Florida - State
#8 of our 50-state flying adventure - we tried flying ourselves to the Florida Keys in our experimental bushplane.
The plan was simple: fly into Marathon, scuba dive in Key Largo, catch a sunset sail in Key West, and explore one of the most iconic flying destinations in America.
Instead… our airplane wouldn’t start.
So this Florida Keys flying trip turned into a rental car rescue mission, scuba diving with sharks, a last-minute nitrox certification, a sunset sail, and eventually, finally getting Tina into the Keys.
