Two people are dead after a fire at a holiday apartment complex in Spain
Two people have died after a fire broke out at a holiday apartment complex in Spain this morning.
The fire on the third floor of the apartment complex in the holiday resort of Magaluf on the island of Majorca injured 24 others and left two people dead.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but the fire had quickly taken hold, and the third floor of the building became engulfed in flames.

The massive blaze at the beachfront property broke out in the early hours of this morning (Thursday) near the popular holiday party strip of Punta Ballena, in Magaluf.
Photos taken at the scene showed huge clouds of black smoke billowing from the building as firefighters rushed to try to rescue occupants trapped inside on the third floor and above.
Eight of the twenty-four people injured and being treated in hospital are firefighters.

Neighbours said they awoke to the sounds of terrified screams coming from the apartments shortly after 5 am.
The identities of those who died have not yet been released.
