Much-loved Dublin pet store to close after years in business

Another Irish business is closing its doors after many years of trading in North Dublin. The announcement that the popular pet store will close its doors has come as a shock to its loyal customers at the Omni Shopping Centre in Santry, Dublin. Petworld posted the news on its website, saying its final day of trading will be on Sunday, June 21st. Pic: Petworld Management at the store said the decision to close was very difficult for them, and over the years, they have loved seeing their loyal customers in-store and getting to know their customers’ pets. Posting the news, Petworld said ‘We have loved having the kind of chats (with customers) that make work feel like home. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your loyalty, your trust, and for supporting your local Irish pet store.’ Management continued, ‘While the store may be closing, you can still get everything your pet needs through our website, from pet food to toys and everyday essentials.’ ‘While our Santry store may be closing, we’d still love to be part of your pet’s journey. If you have any questions about your Rewards Club account, an online order, your subscription, or simply want a bit of pet expert advice, we’re here to help at 0906479776.’  Petworld stores at other locations around the country are not affected.
