Seamus Power prize money from Charles Schwab Challenge as Russell Henley wins

It wasn't to be for Seamus Power on the PGA Tour this weekend as he failed to get into contention at the Charles Schwab Challenge in Texas. The Irishman finished level par for the tournament, 12 strokes behind winner Russell Henley, who took home the title after defeating Eric Cole in a tense play-off.Of the 75 players to make the cut this weekend, Power finished in a tie for 54th spot, taking home a healthy €19,709 for his week's work.It was a week that saw Power struggle to get any momentum going throughout the tournament. A brace of 69's saw him make the cut with minimal fuss, but a sloppy 74 on moving day put an end to any hopes of making a charge at the title. A fine 68 on Sunday saw him get to level par for the tournament. At the top end of the leaderboard, Henley reeled off three Birdies on the spin to force a play-off, and added a fourth Birdie in over-time to take home the title and a cheque for $1.78m.Next up on the PGA Tour schedule is the Memorial Championship. Scottie Scheffler will look to defend his title, with Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy returning to action for the first time since the PGA Championship last month.Click here to sign up to our sport newsletter, bringing you the top stories and biggest headlines from Ireland and beyond
