Gardai rush to Ballymun after gun fired in housing estate
Gardai have launched an investigation after a firearm was discharged in a Dublin housing estate this evening.Officers attended the scene in the Coultry Gardens area of Ballymun following reports of an incident at approximately 5.30pm.No injuries were reported following the discharge of the firearm and no arrests have been made at this stage.A Garda spokesperson confirmed that they responded to the incident and that inquiries are ongoing.They told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí attended the scene following an incident where a firearm was discharged in the vicinity of Coultry Gardens, Ballymun, Dublin 9 on Sunday 31st May 2026 at approximately 5:30pm"No injuries were reported at the time.
