Blockades on N7, Dublin Bus services resume - live updates

Dublin Bus and Luas services are operating normally this morning but there are blockades on the N7 eastbound approaching Kill and N7 westbound approaching Citywest.Dublin Bus said in a statement this morning: "Dublin Bus wishes to advise that full services resumed at 04:00 on Monday 13 April. We would like to thank all customers for their patience and understanding during this period of disruption."Luas has also confirmed that both Green and Red lines are operating normally this morning. Further reductions of duties on fuel and a delay in a carbon tax increase were announced by Taoiseach Micheal Martin on Sunday evening following an emergency cabinet meeting.The size of the package announced on Sunday is around €505m. The measures will take effect from midnight on Wednesday, subject to approval in the Dail – and will mean excise will have been reduced by a total of 32c on diesel, 27c on petrol, and 7.4c on green diesel.This week, the Government will face a motion of no-confidence brought by Sinn Féin. The party's leader Mary Lou McDonald criticised the coalition Government and said: “The actions of Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and independents have been disastrous.“They have lost the confidence of the public.
