Harvey Norman Ireland announces April fundraising drive for Marie Keating Foundation
Harvey Norman Ireland has launched an official charity partnership with the Marie Keating Foundation.As one of the country's foremost organisations committed to cancer awareness, education, and support, the Marie Keating Foundation was created by the Keating family after the death of their mother Marie’s death from breast cancer in 1998. It was established in her memory with the central ambition of giving people vital information and advice on the signs and symptoms of cancer and help to prevent cancer or detect it at its earliest stages.Through the collaboration, Harvey Norman will roll out a nationwide fundraising campaign this April. Running from 8-26 April, Harvey Norman outlets throughout Ireland will stage a range of in-store fundraising events and activities to advance the Foundation's mission.Throughout this timeframe, shoppers can make donations at checkouts in any branch or opt to give online, guaranteeing everyone can take part, regardless of location. Every penny raised will flow directly into the Foundation's essential information and support programmes, benefiting thousands of individuals annually, delivering education, information and guidance centred on cancer prevention and early detection, while offering support services to those affected by and recovering from cancer.Customers visiting their local Harvey Norman in April can expect a lively line-up of store-led initiatives, staff challenges, community events, and donation opportunities - all designed to raise funds and awareness.Their nursing staff and mobile information units bring the crucial message of cancer prevention and early detection to communities and educational institutions across the nation.
