Gardai submit new file to DPP on Creeslough explosion that killed 10 people

Gardaí have submitted a supplementary file to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) regarding the investigation into the fatal explosion at a service station in Creeslough, Donegal.The explosion at the Applegreen Service Station and apartment complex on October 7, 2022 claimed the lives of four men, three women and three children, aged between five and 59 years.An Garda Síochána confirmed that the supplementary file is in addition to the primary file submitted to the Office of the DPP in September 2025.The supplementary file includes formal recommendations from An Garda Síochána.The victims’ families continue to be supported by Family Liaison Officers.
