Trump hits out at Europe over Strait of Hormuz
The rift between Donald Trump and his European allies seems to grow wider by the day.
The US president has told the UK and other countries that ‘if you’re running short of jet fuel, secure the Strait of Hormuz and “go get your own oil”’.
He also told them they’ll now have to fight for themselves, as the US won’t be there to help them anymore. But his European allies are still staying firmly out of his war on Iran.
