Scott Mills questioned in 2018 over allegations of serious sexual assault against boy aged under 16
Police say sacked Radio 2 DJ Scott Mills was questioned in 2018 over allegations of serious sexual offences against a boy aged under 16.
The claims date back to the late 90s, although the case was dropped due to a lack of evidence.
The Met Police have told this programme tonight they have not received any additional evidence that would support reopening the case.
But the BBC has now admitted it knew about the allegations last year, and has apologised for not asking further questions.
