Artemis II: NASA’s first manned mission around the moon in 50 years
Mankind is due to embark on its first mission to the moon since 1972. But unlike Apollo, the Artemis 2 crew includes the first female, Black and non-American astronauts to fly a moon mission.
The 10-day flight will see them loop around the moon, though they won’t actually touch down on it.
We spoke to NASA’s Head of Science to discuss this historic journey.
