One Irish player bags life-changing Lotto prize
A lucky Lotto player landed a life-changing windfall in last night’s Euromillions draw.
National Lottery bosses have confirmed that one ticket sold in Ireland matched the key numbers needed to scoop a huge prize in the EuroMillions Plus game.
While the exact location of the shop has yet to be revealed, officials have confirmed the winning ticket was purchased in Donegal, leaving locals scrambling to check their slips.

The lucky player matched all five numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw, bagging the game’s top prize of €500,000.
Tonight’s winning EuroMillions Plus numbers were 2, 10, 22, 25, and 35.
And the celebrations didn’t stop there. A further 86 players also had reason to smile after matching four numbers, earning €2,000 each.

Meanwhile, the main EuroMillions draw produced a jaw-dropping jackpot win across the water, with one ticket holder in the UK scooping an eye-watering €209,527,211 prize.
The winning EuroMillions numbers were 12, 14, 27, 44, and 50, with Lucky Stars 4 and 12.
Two other players matched five numbers and one Lucky Star to win €516,690, while ten more punters picked up €24,152 each after matching five numbers.

In total, more than 67,000 players in Ireland won prizes across the EuroMillions and Plus games in tonight’s draw.
There were also ten winners in the special Ireland-Only Raffle, each taking home €5,000.

Lottery bosses are urging players to check their tickets carefully, reminding winners they have 90 days to claim their prize.
In a separate win, a Dublin player has revealed the unusual hiding place he chose after discovering he had landed a €30,000 scratch card prize.
The lucky punter bought a €3 All Cash Tripler Scratch Card at Cards n Things in Citywest Shopping Centre, Dublin 24, before scratching it while watching TV with his wife.
Speaking at National Lottery headquarters, he said: ‘I was watching television with my wife when I scratched the ticket, and I just turned to her and said, “I think I’ve won €30,000!”‘
‘She knew I wasn’t having her on when she saw the look on my face.’
The stunned winner said he immediately ran into the kitchen to switch on the light to double-check the ticket.
‘I went about finding the perfect hiding spot immediately and settled on a fluffy dog ornament that we keep in our room, no one would be looking there!’
He added: ‘The ultimate dream is to buy a camper van. We told ourselves that we wouldn’t fly anywhere this year as we plan to make the most of seeing Ireland so this could be perfect timing.’
Meanwhile, the main EuroMillions jackpot was scooped by a single ticket-holder in the UK, landing an incredible £181 million (€209.5m) windfall.
The massive prize, worth £181,073,415.70, is now believed to be the third largest National Lottery win in UK history, according to lottery operator Allwyn.
The lucky player matched all five main numbers, 12, 14, 27, 44 and 50, along with both Lucky Stars 4 and 12 to secure the life-changing jackpot.
The draw also produced other major wins in the UK, including one ticket-holder who matched five numbers and one Lucky Star to take home £355,164.90, while another player scooped £16,601.50 after matching five main numbers.
Following the huge payout, the next EuroMillions jackpot is now estimated at around £14 million.
