Woman in 20s dies in Tipperary crash as Gardaí appeal for witnesses
A young woman in her 20s tragically lost her life following a road accident in Co Tipperary.Gardaí reported that they were alerted to an incident where a pedestrian was hit by a car on the R502 at Ballinlassa, situated between Templemore and Templetouhy, just after 7pm on Sunday (March 8)."The pedestrian, a female in her 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later," a Gardai spokesperson confirmed.Want to see more of the stories you love from Dublin Live? The coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged."As Gardaí work to unravel the events of Sunday night, they are now appealing for any witnesses to step forward.A Garda spokesperson urged: "Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.
