USA: Toyota unveils bZ Woodland electric SUV

The model will arrive at US dealerships in March 2026 with a starting MSRP of $45,300, excluding fees. The vehicle uses a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery and offers an EPA-estimated range of up to 281 miles. Toyota estimates a 0–60 mph acceleration time of 4.4 seconds.Models fitted with optional all-terrain tyres achieve an estimated 260 miles. The bZ Woodland comes equipped with a North American Charging System (NACS) port and supports DC fast charging from 10 to 80 per cent in around 30 minutes under ideal conditions. An 11 kW on-board charger enables AC charging, and a dual-voltage home charging cable is supplied as standard.Toyota has integrated battery pre-conditioning to optimise charging performance. The function can be activated manually or automatically when navigating to a fast-charging station.
