Inflation predicted to return to 2% as soon as April, says Bank of England
The Bank of England has said that inflation should get back to 2% – the official target – as soon as this April.
It still wants more evidence that inflation is tamed before it cuts interest rates from 3.75%.
The Bank’s governor, Andrew Bailey, also said he was shocked to hear of details of Peter Mandelson’s leaking of financial information to Jeffrey Epstein.
