Moby and Faithless to play IMMA Kilmainham this summer
Moby has announced a live show at the Irish Museum of Modern Art at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham this summer.The artist, who will be joined by special guests Faithless, is set to take the stage at the Dublin venue on 21 August. Tickets will go on sale from 10am this Friday, February 6, on Ticketmaster here.In addition to his solo work, Moby, born Richard Melville Hall, has collaborated and produced music with a range of artists including David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne, Public Enemy, Daft Punk and The Beastie Boys. He's also been involved with numerous non-profit organisations such as Emily's List, The Humane Society and the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function.Moby has also ventured into television and media production through his company, Little Walnut, producing award-winning documentaries like Moby Doc and Punk Rock Vegan Movie. The company is also gearing up for a Summer 2026 release of their first narrative feature, Tecie.Born in Harlem in New York City in 1965, Melville was given his famous moniker by his father just 10 minutes after his birth, due to his ancestral connection to Herman Melville. At the age of 9, Moby began playing classical music and studying music theory.He later immersed himself in New York City's punk rock scene during the 1980s, releasing his debut single Go in 1991, which Rolling Stone magazine hailed as one of the best records of all time.
