McGregor reveals plans for giant Jesus statue on Cliffs of Moher
Conor McGregor has revealed a dream he has for Ireland, inspired by current work being done in Armenia.
The Asian country is currently constructing the world’s largest statue of Jesus Christ, with Dublin native McGregor confirming ‘it looks magnificent.’
Lauding Armenia, the UFC fighter revealed his dream to do something similar in Ireland.

Taking to social media, the father-of-four shared a seemingly AI generated mock-up photo of a large statue of Jesus Christ on the Cliffs of Moher.
‘I have a dream to construct the largest statue of Jesus Christ in Ireland!’ McGregor wrote, ‘A massive monument to our nations faith.
‘Armenia are currently constructing the world’s largest and it looks magnificent! Bravo Armenia!’

Conor went on to add: ‘LET’S GO IRELAND! Today is the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord!
’11th of the 1st, 2026. Where we celebrate Jesus’ baptism!
‘May the Holy Spirit renew you and remind you, you are loved!’
The bizarre revelation was met with many backing the idea and encouraging McGregor to pursue it, with one writing: ‘Do it. What’s holding you back?’
Another wondered: ‘Will he be holding a pint of Black Forge?’
A third added: ‘That would be epic. Ireland deserves a landmark like that.’

Elsewhere, many hit out at McGregor with one writing: ‘The trend of horrible people shielding themselves through religion continues,’ and another hitting out: ‘This guy can get f*cked.’
