Pinergy strengthens team with two Senior Energy Consultants

Pinergy has expanded its advisory capabilities for large energy users with the appointment of Nichola Cooke and Annmarie Hennessy as Senior Energy Consultants. The company said the move reflects growing demand from commercial clients seeking to navigate rising ESG requirements, energy costs and the transition to low-carbon technologies. Announcing the appointments, Daire Keating, Chief Commercial Officer at Pinergy, said: “We are proud to welcome Annmarie and Nichola to the Pinergy team. “Their exceptional experience will enable us to deliver impactful energy solutions for large commercial clients, which is precisely what our commercial customers need right now. “As businesses face increasingly complex challenges and ESG targets, Nichola and Annmarie’s expertise will help our commercial customers optimise their energy use and costs, reduce their environmental footprint, and accelerate their transition to renewables.” Hennessy joins the business with extensive commercial and sales leadership experience in the Irish energy market. Her remit will centre on expanding Pinergy’s large-user client base, particularly in manufacturing and technology, and developing tailored strategies that help organisations reduce costs and comply with evolving sustainability regulations. The company said she will act as a strategic advisor to clients seeking to improve energy efficiency and move towards cleaner energy sources. Originally from Wexford, Hennessy has previously held senior roles including Key Account Manager at Energia, Senior B2B Regional Sales and Operations Manager with Uniquely (Bord Gáis Energy Account) and CNG and Renewable Gas New Connections Business Development Manager at CPM. Cooke brings more than 18 years of experience in energy supply, renewables and engineering. She will focus on growing Pinergy’s footprint across the industrial and commercial sectors by promoting advanced energy technologies, including commercial solar, and integrating the company’s smart metering solutions. Her role will involve advising large users on long-term efficiency measures and renewable energy strategies as they pursue decarbonisation targets. Nichola Cooke.
