‘Who Cares About Maps?’: EU Chief Ursula JIBES Trump As Carney ‘Laughs Off’ U.S. Trade War

EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen appeared to take a pointed swipe at Donald Trump during a joint appearance with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. Speaking at the historic Canada-EU summit, Ursula declared that what matters today is not where a country is on the map, but what it stands for and what it is ready to build with others. The remark comes amid Trump's controversial comments and ambitions involving maps and territorial boundaries. Ursula also welcomed Canada's move closer to the European Union, calling it a historic partnership built around shared interests, sovereignty and security. As Carney and Ursula push for deeper transatlantic cooperation, is Europe sending Washington a message?
