Russia-Ukraine War: Russian Missiles Strike Kyiv Wounding 15, Ukraine Retaliates Strongly |Originals

Russian missile strikes hit Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, early Thursday, October 22, injuring 15 people and damaging subway infrastructure on the Southern Bridge over the Dnipro River, according to local authorities. Traffic on the bridge was restricted following the damage. The attack came after another Russian strike on Kyiv on Wednesday evening wounded six people. Meanwhile, Ukraine launched hundreds of drones towards Moscow overnight, intensifying cross-border attacks. The latest strikes continued despite renewed US diplomatic efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war, including talks this week between US envoy Steve Witkoff and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
