ON CAM: Saudi Jet BLOWN TO PIECES! First Images Emerge After Houthis Strike Riyadh Airport
Images circulating online appear to show a damaged Saudia Airbus A310-200 at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh following a reported Houthi ballistic missile attack on October 8.
The Houthis claimed responsibility for launching a missile towards Saudi Arabia's main airport, but Saudi authorities have not confirmed that the aircraft was directly struck. The images and cause of the reported damage remain independently unverified.
Saudi air defences reported intercepting two ballistic missiles heading towards Riyadh and another targeting Khamis Mushait.
The latest incident follows deadly attacks on airports in Riyadh and Abha that killed three people and injured 36 others.
Air India, Akasa Air and Lufthansa Group have announced flight suspensions amid growing security concerns.
