Health officials warn of measles at 8 Ottawa businesses
Ottawa Public Health is warning residents about potential measles exposure at eight local businesses over three days following two confirmed cases in the capital. CTV's Kimberley Fowler reports that health officials say two residents contracted the measles virus outside Ontario, though the overall public risk remains low. Exposure locations include a Tim Hortons on Hawthorne Road, a Tim Hortons on Lancaster Road, along with a Your Independent Grocer, a Rexall, a Metro, a Subway and a McDonald's. Anyone who visited the affected sites during the specified dates must monitor for measles symptoms for 21 days from the date of exposure.
