BREAKING: MBS’ Aircraft Burns At Riyadh Airport After Houthis’ SHOCK Missile Attack On Saudi Capital
Smoke was reportedly seen rising from a parked aircraft at King Khalid International Airport, Saudi Arabia's main airport in Riyadh, on October 8, hours after Yemen's Houthis claimed another ballistic missile attack on the facility.
Reuters reported that a witness and three people briefed on the incident observed smoke rising from a stationary aircraft. However, Saudi authorities had not confirmed the latest Houthi attack claim or established whether the aircraft was struck by a missile.
Flight operations were disrupted amid reports of another airport closure.
The latest incident follows deadly attacks on airports in Riyadh and Abha earlier this week, which Saudi authorities said killed three people and injured 36 others.
The escalation comes as Saudi-backed Yemeni forces battle the Houthis for control of strategic territory near the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
