‘X Men 97” Deals An Emotional Blow With ‘Dead Mans Hand’
Final ThoughtsDead Man's Hand did everything I needed from Season 2's penultimate episode. The return of Gambit, deepening Rogue's journey, and a massive build on the overarching plot quashed all concerns over a season that somewhat neglected the larger threads. While the ever-growing cast of Marvel's mutant team might stretch the writing a little, it continues to be one of the best comic book adaptations out there and a beacon for great comic book animation.
