Tribures to two men found dead in car in Newton-with-Clifton
Stuart Tallis, 27, and William Hutchinson, 31, had both been reported missing from their homes in Preston in June.
Lancashire Police said enquiries suggested the pair may have been together, prompting officers to carry out extensive searches to find them.
Shortly after midday on July 4, specialist search officers discovered William's blue Peugeot 106 hidden in thick undergrowth off the westbound carriageway of the A584 Preston New Road, close to the junction with the A583 Blackpool Road at Newton-with-Clifton.

Tragically, both men were found dead inside the vehicle.
Paying tribute, Stuart's family said: "Stuart was more than a brother and son; he was our best friend.
"His smile, laughter, and kind heart could light up a room and make even the darkest days feel brighter.
"While our hearts are broken by his loss, we find comfort in the beautiful memories we shared with him. We will cherish those memories forever and carry them with us every day.
"We love you, Stu, forever and always. You will never be forgotten. R.I.P. Son. You are always in my heart. Love forever, Mum."
William's family said he was a devoted father, loving partner and "one of a kind".
In a tribute, they said: "William was a much-loved son, devoted partner, proud father to two beautiful children whom he absolutely adored, and a cherished brother, nephew, cousin and friend.
"He was truly one of a kind, a lovable rogue with a larger-than-life personality.
"He had the gift of the gab, could make friends wherever he went, and had a remarkable ability to bring laughter and warmth to those around him.

"Above all, William had a heart of gold. He was fiercely loyal to those he loved and would do anything for his family and friends.
"His kindness, humour and unique character touched so many lives, and his loss has left an immense void that can never be filled.
"We are all still struggling to come to terms with this devastating tragedy. The shock of losing William so suddenly has left family and friends heartbroken, and the grief we feel is beyond words.
"As a family, we would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support, kindness and messages of condolence we have received. Your thoughtful words, memories and gestures of support have brought great comfort during the most difficult time of our lives.
"William was truly one in a million, and he will be loved, remembered and missed forever."
