GAA On TV This Weekend: All-Ireland Finals And Club Championship Action
The intercounty season is almost done for the year, but there is no shortage of GAA action to watch this weekend.
Sunday’s three All-Ireland ladies football finals provide the national entertainment, with Carlow, Antrim, Fermanagh, Roscommon, Kerry and Galway all travelling to Croke Park.
The club championships are also gathering momentum across the country. Clubber and StreamSport will broadcast games from several counties throughout the weekend, including big fixtures in Cork, Galway, Kerry, Kilkenny, Roscommon and Waterford.
There is even some stateside action available, with the Boston football semi-finals being shown live on Sunday night.
Here are some of the best GAA games to watch this weekend.

Friday, July 31st
St Brigid’s v Michael Glaveys – 8pm, Clubber
All-Ireland club finalists and reigning Connacht champions St Brigid’s begin their Roscommon Senior Football Championship campaign against Michael Glaveys.
Having come agonisingly close to winning the Andy Merrigan Cup earlier this year, St Brigid’s will be among the leading contenders in Roscommon once again.
Midleton v St Finbarr’s – 7.15pm, Clubber
Two of Cork’s best-known hurling clubs meet in the opening round of the county senior championship.
Midleton and St Finbarr’s both possess significant championship pedigree, making this a box office clash between two teams hoping to be involved at the business end of the competition.
Ballygunner v Ferrybank – 7.30pm, Clubber
All-Ireland champions Ballygunner are in Waterford championship action against Ferrybank on Friday evening.
Ballygunner have set extraordinary standards domestically over recent seasons and have begun another county championship with a 100% record so far.
Galway Senior Football Championship – 7.30pm, StreamSport
The Galway Senior Football Championship gets underway with three streamed games on Friday night.
Milltown take on Salthill-Knocknacarra at Tuam Stadium, while Corofin begin their campaign against Claregalway at Kenny Park. Reigning champions Maigh Cuilinn will also be in action against Naomh Anna Leitir Móir.
With all three matches throwing in at 7.30pm, Galway football supporters will have a difficult decision to make.
Saturday, August 1st
Ballyhale Shamrocks v Erin’s Own – 5.30pm, Clubber
The Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship gets underway on Saturday, with Ballyhale Shamrocks facing Erin’s Own.
Ballyhale’s remarkable success means they remain one of the biggest draws in club hurling. Their opening championship fixture should offer an early indication of their prospects this year.
Sunday, August 2nd
Antrim v Carlow – 11.45am, TG4
The first All-Ireland title of the day will be decided when Antrim and Carlow meet in the junior final.
It is a particularly significant occasion for Carlow, whose ladies footballers will play at Croke Park for the first time.
Antrim, meanwhile, return to the junior decider after losing last year’s final to Louth and will hope their greater experience of the occasion can help them get over the line.
Fermanagh v Roscommon – 1.45pm, TG4
Fermanagh and Roscommon will contest the intermediate final in the second game of the Croke Park triple-header.
Roscommon are looking to win the title for the first time since 2005, while Fermanagh have lost out in finals in 2014 and 2019.
Abbeydorney v St Brendan’s – 2pm, Clubber
Away from Croke Park, the Kerry Senior Hurling Championship final will take place in Tralee.
Abbeydorney and St Brendan’s will battle for county honours in The Kingdom.
Kerry v Galway – 4.15pm, TG4
Kerry and Galway meet in the senior ladies football final to conclude the Croke Park triple-header.
Kerry are seeking another senior title after last lifting the Brendan Martin Cup in 2022. Galway have been in outstanding form throughout the championship and will be confident of finishing the season with the biggest prize available.
All three ladies football finals will be broadcast live on TG4.
Sunday night: Boston football semi-finals
Donegal Boston v Aidan McAnespies – 8.30pm, Clubber
The action continues across the Atlantic on Sunday evening as Donegal Boston face Aidan McAnespies in the first Boston football semi-final.
The game throws in at 8.30pm Irish time and will be shown live on Clubber.
Galway Boston v Kerry Boston – 11.30pm, Clubber
The GAA obsessive in your life can finish the weekend with Galway Boston against Kerry Boston in the second semi-final.
Throw-in is at 11.30pm Irish time, bringing a packed weekend of GAA coverage to a close.
