The Yellow Ribbon Run returns on Sunday, 20 September 2026, inviting individuals, families and communities across Singapore to come together in support of second chances and a more inclusive society. This year’s edition marks a significant milestone as the annual event moves to the city for the first time, offering participants scenic 5km and 10km routes around the National Stadium before concluding with a lively carnival celebrating hope, acceptance and rehabilitation.
Taking place at the Kallang precinct, the 2026 edition introduces a brand new 888m Parent Child Run, designed for children aged 4 to 12 and their parent or guardian. The new category encourages families to participate together while showing their support for the Yellow Ribbon movement and its message of giving individuals a second chance.
Participants can look forward to running through the vibrant surroundings of the National Stadium before joining the post-race carnival, where the community can come together to celebrate resilience, inclusion and the importance of successful reintegration.
In the week leading up to the event, the Yellow Ribbon Project Pop-up Store will be held at the Kallang Wave Mall Atrium from 14 to 20 September 2026. Visitors can enjoy freshly baked treats and coffee, browse artwork created by inmates, and explore an exhibition highlighting rehabilitation and reintegration efforts, offering deeper insight into the importance of providing second chances.
The Yellow Ribbon Run 2026 will take place on Sunday, 20 September 2026, at the Kallang precinct, with flag off times varying by race category. Early bird registration is available until 31 July 2026.
Those who wish to take part can register now at the official Yellow Ribbon Run website and join thousands of participants in running with purpose while supporting a more inclusive Singapore.
