Aesop has introduced Antithesis Intense Body Cleanser, giving one of its long-standing body care formulations a new identity while retaining the distinctive sensory experience that has earned it a loyal following. Previously known as Coriander Seed Body Cleanser, the reformulated product arrives with a new name that highlights its bold aromatic character and contrasting scent profile.
Available in 180ml and 500ml sizes priced at S$57 and S$68 respectively, Antithesis Intense Body Cleanser combines warm, woody and spicy notes to create an invigorating cleansing experience. The fragrance is led by crushed coriander seed and black pepper essential oils, producing an aroma that is both fresh and familiar while balancing warmth with coolness and boldness with complexity.
Despite its intense scent, the body cleanser features a clear, low foaming gel formula designed to gently remove surface impurities without stripping the skin of moisture. Suitable for daily use and a wide range of skin types, the formulation leaves skin feeling refreshed while delivering an uplifting sensory experience.
To accompany the launch, Aesop has created a campaign centred around the art of sculpture, reflecting the product’s theme of contrasts. A short film follows an artist chiselling a block of pale stone into the form of a human torso, juxtaposing the hardness of stone with the warmth and softness of human skin. The visual narrative mirrors the balance of strength and delicacy found in the cleanser’s aromatic profile.
Selected Aesop signature stores will also feature sculptural displays surrounded by black peppercorns and coriander seeds, inviting visitors to explore the interplay of light and shadow, texture and form. The installations are designed to echo the sensory contrasts that define Antithesis Intense Body Cleanser while creating an immersive retail experience.
