Anti-leak memo from White House is leaked to the press anyway
An email from White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, warning staff not to leak any information to the press, has been leaked to the press.
The embarrassing moment came after Susie Wiles warned all White House staff that leaking memos, emails, or any other information to the press would not be tolerated.
However, that piece of information did not stay private for long.

The email, which was obtained by Politico, a news organisation focused on politics and current affairs, stated that ‘no staff member within the Executive Office of the President is permitted to speak with members of the news media without the explicit approval of the White House Communications Office.’
The email also went on to warn staff that any unauthorised leaks would not be tolerated and may result in termination of contract.

According to The Independent, the email from Susie Wiles comes after a lot of frustration in the White House, after some members of staff bypassed official channels and shared details of internal goings-on at the President’s office and home, with members of the press.
In April, at the beginning of the Iran war, President Trump warned that he would find the person who leaked information about a downed US fighter jet in Iran, saying the information leaked could have had disastrous results for the airman and the US in general.
