Influencer dies after being struck by car driven by X-Factor finalist

An influencer has died less than a week after she was struck by a car outside a nightclub in London. Klaudia Zakrewska, 32, was struck by a car outside of a nightclub in Argyll Street, Soho, following a physical altercation with another woman who allegedly drove the car. Ms Zakrewska, from Essex, was rushed to hospital following the incident, which was captured on video and shared online. Another man was also hospitalised following the incident, where he suffered life changing injuries. Gabrielle Carrington, 29, was arrested following the incident, and was initially charged with attempted murder, dangerous driving, and causing injuries to two other people who were hit by her car, a Mercedes Benz. Ms Carrington, who was previously a finalist on The X Factor in 2013 as part of the girl group Miss Dynamix, appeared in court on Tuesday in relation to the incident. Her attempted murder charge will be upgraded to murder following Ms Zakrewska’s death. Her next court appearance will take place on May 19. A GoFundMe, initially for Ms Zakrewska’s medical expenses as well as her family’s legal bills, raised over £18,000 (€20,700). The GoFundMe’s description read that if at any time things take a turn for the worst, additional funds will go towards funeral costs and continuous support for the family.
