Police vehicles line Teignmouth street after 'criminal damage' incident

A man has been arrested after a suspected break-in at a Devon property triggered a police response.Devon and Cornwall Police were called at 9.30am on April 17 to Higher Brimley Road in Teignmouth.Police units attended the property and have since arrested a man from Torquay.The man, in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and burglary.He remains in police custody as enquiries continue, said the force.A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police were called at 9.30am today, 17 April, to reports of a suspected break in at a property on Higher Brimley Road, Teignmouth.“Units attended and, following enquiries, have arrested a man in his 20s from Torquay on suspicion of criminal damage and burglary.“He remains in police custody and enquiries are ongoing.”
