In some cases, this can also be connected to sleep paralysis, especially if it occurs as you are falling asleep or waking up.'Taking an exam and being unprepared 'Having this dream is a classic sign of performance anxiety, especially if is recurring,' said the expert. 'Even long after leaving school, this dream shows up when there is heightened pressure to meet expectations or prove yourself to others.'Losing something valuable'Dreams about losing something valuable - like a phone, wallet, or even your own child - reveal anxiety about loss, identity, or disconnection,' said the psychologist. 'They may suggest you feel something important is slipping away in your life.'
