St. Louis Park - Age 98 of St. Louis Park, passed away April 1, 2026. Born in Eureka, South Dakota, she lived a full life of faith and possessed a strong and resilient spirit. Following her retirement as an executive secretary at Fingerhut, she kept active with a variety of pursuits and interests as well as enjoying time with her beloved grandson. Bernie was a member and librarian of The North Star Chapter of Minnesota (Germans from Russian). She journeyed far and wide as a member of the Good Sam RV Travel Club. She was an avid reader and a prolific published writer. She had a keen interest in ancestry and genealogy. Preceded in death by parents Ruben and Clara (Quenzer) Kallenberger, brother James Kallenberger, husband of 33 years Orville D. Pettigrew, husband of 29 years, Laroy J. Becker. Survived by son, Donald (Laura) Pettigrew, daughter, Harmony Claire (Stephen) Bennett, and grandson, Eli M. Jason. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Service will be held at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata, MN, Monday, April 13th at 10.00 a.m. with visitation starting at 9:30. Private burial at Ft.
