Pic: Mike Marsland/WireImage ‘She didn’t really want to talk on the phone,’ Michael said on his podcast, Dreams of Our Loved Ones. ‘And she didn’t live close by — she’s in Los Angeles.’ Despite her not being able to speak, making saying goodbye difficult, Michael said that he got a ‘sort of goodbye’ in his dreams, when he said that Catherine appeared in them. ‘I always cherish the times I can meet with a loved one in the dream state,’ he said. ‘Actually, oddly enough, I had a dream a few days before she died, my sister.’ Catherine passed away from a brief illness earlier this year, after she was diagnosed with rectal cancer last year. And I guess it was sort of a goodbye.’ Michael added that, in his dream, Catherine was ‘very happy’ and renovating a home she had in ‘the other world,’ with him adding that he has come to visit her in his sleep. ‘She said “you can sleep here any time, Michael. You can come over and stay any time.’ Catherine’s brother had said that she visited him in her dreams shortly before she died. According to TMZ, which obtained a copy of the death certificate, the star was cremated and her remains were returned to her husband, Robert ‘Bo’ Welch.
