Top 50 Celebration of Success
Organised by this year’s List sponsor StyleCloud, it saw photographers arriving from all four corners of the UK – including the Scottish Islands – and it swiftly turned into a lively affair, full of great networking opportunities and hot gossip, and marked by informal addresses from Professional Photo editor Terry Hope and StyleCloud founder Melissa Love.
For the first time this year there were also special Lifetime List Awards handed out to Rebecca Carpenter, Esme Whiteside, Lisa Devlin and Jo Greenfield to mark their appearance in all five of the Lists to date, with all but Rebecca there to receive their accolade on the night.
With the happy discovery that a noisy salsa event was taking place in an adjacent room at the Big Chill the evening took an unexpected turn, with several attendees demonstrating their remarkable dancing skills until late in the evening. A fantastic way to celebrate a list that contained so many new names, and an evening that will be remembered way into the future!
