Vogue Williams ‘didn’t speak to Spencer for a week’ after big family moment
Irish podcast queen Vogue Williams “didn’t speak to Spencer Matthews for a week” after the family moved home. Spencer and Vogue are currently renting a property in London while their dream home undergoes renovation work. They left their old spacious apartment in the English capital and expect it will be a good 18 months until their new home is ready. Vogue says the couple, and their children Theodore, Otto and Gigi, are “squashed in” their new home because they “own so much stuff”.During a recent trip to Google’s Irish HQ Vogue revealed the move left her feeling annoyed with Spencer. In an interview that was aired on her What Does She Even Do? vlog, Vogue opened up about her gripe with her husband. She said: “I didn’t speak to Spencer for a week after the house move. When I say he did nothing, he did not lift a finger.”Vogue previously told RSVP Magazine that she was “kind of nervous” that Spencer has been getting involved in their home renovation project. She said: “We’ve just moved into our rental in London and we hope to start work on the new house this month.“I think it’ll be an 18 month project. We are desperate to get in there. The rental is grand, but we’re all squashed in a little bit because we’ve so much stuff.“This is the part I love, but I’m kind of nervous because Spenny’s getting really quite involved in the renovation process. I thought he might have lost interest in it by now, but he hasn’t!“It’s going to be quite collaborative, that’s going to take up a lot of the year.”She says their rental property is “close enough” that they will be able to keep an eye on the project. She added that she hopes it will be her “forever home”. Spencer however has previously raised doubts about Vogue’s claim. In another vlog, she described the property as her “forever dream home,” before the former Made in Chelsea star added: “It won’t be forever.”Vogue responded: “I’m not going to say it’s forever, forever, but it's for the kids' lives. When we get old, I don’t think we’ll live here, but I'm going to live here until I am old.”As well as their home in London, Spencer and Vogue, who married in 2018 after meeting on The Jump, own a home in Vogue’s native Howth. The stunning property offers coastal views.Vogue added: “The home in Howth is fully done. Until I think of something else to do! That’s what I love about interiors, you can easily switch things up.“I’d love to think I’d spend more time in Ireland. For now, I love living in London. I feel really lucky that we have the option of two places, and it’s so easy to fly back home.”
