She has a master's degree and has a completely different journey to me. I'm very content now and I have an enormous amount of gratitude for everyone that's in my life.", reports RSVP Live.He continued: "We are about to have a son too... imminently. But we have no name yet."In a conversation with the Sunday Independent, Jonathan also discussed his long-term battle with alcohol addiction, and how challenging it was for his struggles to be so public."I had to go through all my bad stuff in public," he admitted. "And at the time it was horrifying. Horrifying. Being photographed drunk, arrests. Always for the same thing, always for being drunk and disorderly. Discipline is the highest form of self-respect and I had a lack of respect for myself at the time."His darkest moment occurred in 2020."I had my one and only DUI [Driving Under the Influence charge]," he confessed. "I stopped driving for many years after it but I couldn't renew my work visa for the United States at the time, so I had to move out of the US."He went on: "My marriage didn't work, so I'm divorced. And our son, Wolf, was also living in the United States. So all of these consequences had become evident for me. They needed to be evident for me to be able to do the hardest thing that anybody is going to have to do in their life, which is change. I knew I had to change."He is now three years sober and living on a farm in Wexford. He hasn't been working recently as he's been focusing on personal growth."I took time away to be able to deal with me," he shared. "I'm hoping to get more opportunities in the future but I don't know if I will."Want to see more of the stories you love from the Irish Mirror?
