Award-winning baby and toddler swimming school opening new Dublin location
First Swim, the sole purpose-built baby and toddler swim school in Ireland, has announced a new Dublin location.The south Dublin swimming school is now crossing the Liffey, and has announced the launch of its second venue at Gulliver's Retail Park in Santry. Patrons can anticipate all the comforts and attributes of the award-winning flagship school in Sandyford at its new northside location from May 11 2026.First Swim offer swimming lessons for little ones aged from 10 weeks to three-years old, operating seven days a week in its private onsite pool, maintained at a cosy 33C. This provides the ideal environment for parents to strengthen their connection with their baby in the water while they learn an important life skill.While the primary goal is teaching children to swim, First Swim say they also appreciate the significance of the complete experience from arrival to departure. Comfort, safety and satisfaction are paramount, and the entire facility has been purpose-built around the requirements of parents and babies.The new location features a private cafe where parents can unwind and socialise with others before or after their session, establishing a community atmosphere. They will serve barista-quality coffee and delicious treats, and it includes feeding high chairs, plush adult seating, complimentary WIFI and bottle feeding stations.Also within the facility will be temperature-controlled changing rooms that contain eight generous cubicles with baby change units, and shower facilities are additionally available onsite. First Swim are the proud recipients of the Best Baby Class – Mums & Tots Awards 2024 (Gold) & 2025 (Gold), Best Baby Class – Pregnancy & Baby Fair Awards 2025 (Gold) & 2026 (Silver) and Baby & Toddler School of Excellence – All Ireland Business Foundation Awards in 2024 & 2025.
