Hundreds of thousands displaced by Israeli strikes in Lebanon
In Lebanon the number of reported deaths has risen to 570 and almost 700,000 people have been forced from their homes by the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel.
Many have moved from dangerous areas in the south of the country and the southern suburbs of Beirut to the supposedly safer neighbourhoods of the capital.
But life in the shelters is crowded with necessities in short supply.
Our International Editor Lindsey Hilsum spent the day with some of the families who’ve left their homes, knowing they may never return.
