Major DART disruption over 'significant damage' to overhead lines
Iarnród Éireann have said that DART services between Pearse and Dún Laoghaire are suspended.
Rail services between Pearse and Dún Laoghaire have been suspended until further notice, after ‘significant damage’ was caused to overhead line equipment.
Iarnród Éireann, which operates the DART, have said that the services will be down for an extended period of time, including during peak service on Thursday.

‘Customers are advised that all train services are suspended between Pearse and Dun Laoghaire until further notice, due to significant damage to overhead line equipment,’ a statement on Iarnród Éireann’s website reads.
‘While we are working to repair the damage, disruption is expected to continue for an extended period of time, including during this evening’s peak service.’

Iarnród Éireann have said that there will be no DART services between Pearse and Dún Laoghaire.
Services are operating between Howth/Malahide and Pearse, as well as between Dún Laoghaire and Bray/Greystones. However, delays may result.
Leap cards can be used on all TFI transport methods in affected areas, subject to capacity.

As well as the disrupted services between Pearse and Dún Laoghaire, the Rosslare InterCity service is also affected — with Iarnród Éireann saying that bus transfers will operate between Connolly and Bray for Rosslare services. Significant delays may result due to availability of buses, and traffic conditions.

The 16:28 Connolly to Rosslare Europort – Bus transfer will operate from Connolly directly to Bray, and a train will operate from Bray to Rosslare Europort.
17:28 Connolly to Rosslare Europort – Bus transfer will operate from Connolly directly to Bray, and a train will operate from Bray to Rosslare Europort
18:28 Connolly to Wexford – Bus transfer will operate from Connolly directly to Bray, and a train will operate from Bray to Wexford
