Ayatollah of Iran calls for 'shedding' of Donald Trump's blood
An Ayatollah in Iran has called for the ‘shedding’ of the blood of Donald Trump and Zionists.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in an airstrike at the onset of the war, with attacks carried out by the USA and Israel last Saturday (February 28).
Abdollah Javadi Amoli, a senior cleric of the Iranian government and Ayatollah, made a clerical address on national television where he called for ‘the shedding of Zionist blood, the shedding of Trump’s blood.’

Speaking in a televised address, Ayatollah Amoli made a rare call for violence by a clerical leader, saying: ‘Fight the oppressive America, his blood is on my shoulders.
‘We are now on the verge of a great test and we must be careful to fully preserve this unity, to fully preserve this alliance.’
Online chats that were allegedly linked to members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps have also reportedly called for jihad [holy war], calling on supporters in Iran as well as Iraq, Lebanon and Pakistan to ‘burn the embassies and assets’ of their enemies.

Iran launched fresh airstrikes on Israeli and American bases on Thursday morning, after Israel and the US launched the attack on Saturday morning.
Over 1,200 people have been killed in Iran so far, while around 70 people in Lebanon and around a dozen in Israel have also died as a result of the conflict.
An Iranian warship was torpedoed by the US in the Indian Ocean earlier this week, which Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragachi called ‘an atrocity at sea.’
‘Mark my words: The US will come to bitterly regret (the) precedent it has set,’ Mr Aragachi said.
Mr Trump’s Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, previously said that Iran ‘tried to assassinate’ Mr Trump as he bragged that a ‘unit leader’ in Iran who ‘tried to kill’ the President was killed.
‘Iran tried to kill President Trump, and President Trump got the last laugh,’ Mr Hegseth said, before adding that the US would ‘avenge’ four members of the US Military who were killed since the conflict began last week.
