Man fighting for life in hospital as woman, 30s, is arrested in Dublin

A man is in critical condition and a woman has been arrested following an alleged assault in DublinGardaí are appealing for witnesses after the alleged attack took place on Lealand Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 at around 8am on Saturday morning, which has left a man fighting for his life in hospital.The man, aged in his 50s, is being treated at James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown, where his condition is described as critical.One woman, aged in her 30s, has been arrested and is currently being detained at a Garda station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the alleged assault.A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an incident of alleged assault that occurred at Lealand Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, on Saturday, 21 February, at approximately 8am."They added: "Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact them.
