Heavy rains disrupt classes in parts of Bukidnon
MARAMAG, Bukidnon — Heavy rains due to the shearline disrupted classes in parts pof Bukidnon on Friday. Local officials in Valencia City, Maramag, Kibawe, Lantapan, and Cabanglasan ordered the suspension of classes across various levels to ensure students’ safety. In Maramag, administrative officer Raffy Sabellina said classes were called off around 6:25 a.m. as rains persisted since Thursday night, raising concerns over soil saturation that could lead to flash floods and landslides, particularly in upstream barangays.
